Schott Tubing held the ceremony for Start of Glass Production in Jinyun Zhejiang on November 11, 2020, and it was successful in lighting up the furnace. Since then,  the important step from construction to operation/production was successfully done.

Schott Tubing is one of the leading manufacturers of glass tubing worldwide. The greenfield plant, covering a footprint area of approx. 33,000 m2, will produce annually 40,000 t medicinal neutral borosilicate glass tubes in a wide range of dimensions.
