Mercedes-Benz Parts Manufacturing & Services Ltd., fully owned by Daimler, celebrated the opening of its new remanufacturing plant in Lingang, Shanghai. Almost on the day 12 month after the groundbreaking, the 25,000 sqm facility is now operational, supplying the chin. automotive aftermarket with remanufactured engines, transmissions, etc, with 100% quality and warranty by Daimler. Also the new facility was realized meeting and surpassing the envisaged standards. Utilising geothermal energy,combined with a state-of-the-art BAS System will guarantee highly efficient operations in the plant. Design, Engineering and Project/Construction Management was entrusted to BMP.
